Skin Tag Removal

Skin tags are small growths found on the skin, usually skin-coloured, or slightly brown in colour. They are soft in texture and movable to touch. They are common, non-contagious and harmless. Skin tags are mainly found on the neck, underarms, around the groin area or under the breasts and can vary in size.
Skin tags are often caused by friction and occur when extra cells grow in the top layers of the skin. They tend to develop when the skin rubs against itself.
You may want to consider getting them removed if they are unsightly and affect your self-esteem, or if they snag on clothing or jewellery and cause irritation.

Milia Removal
A Milium cyst, also known as a ‘milk spot’, is a small, benign yellow or white bump. Often found in groups or clusters under the eyes, on the nose or around the cheekbone.
Unlike a pimple the milia may feel quite hard, almost like a small piece of grit under the skin. This is because they are made up of hard dead skin cells that have no way of breaking down and escaping underneath the skin’s surface. They are not contagious or harmful
The reasons behind milia formation, and why some individuals are more prone to them than others, are largely unknown

Broken Capillaries / Thread Veins Removal
Facial thread veins are tiny blood vessels which run close to the surface of the skin. They look like thin red or occasionally purple or blue lines. They appear when blood vessels become enlarged which cause the veins to appear broken. The medical term for them is telangiectasia.
There are several causes including overexposure to the sun, drastic changes in weather, excessive alcohol consumption, hormonal changes such as pregnancy & menopause, sudden changes in pressure such as severe vomiting or sneezing, or they may simply be genetic. People with rosacea often find they suffer from facial thread veins as the skin is red and flushed.

Unwanted Hair Removal
Increased levels of testosterone during menopause cause new hair growth around the chin and breast areas. These can be treated easily and permanently with a course of electrolysis sessions.
Hair growth can be heredity and a result of fluctuating hormone levels.
Women find that facial hair can become thicker and more noticeable especially around the perimenopause and menopause time of life. Hair growth can also be stimulated by taking certain drugs, temporary methods of hair removal, and some illnesses
Treatment cost is £40 upto 30 minutes.

Wart Removal.
Filiform warts can occur on the face and other areas of the body.
Filiform warts look different than most warts. They have long, narrow projections that extend from the skin. They can be yellow, brown, pink, or skin-toned, and don’t generally form in clusters.
Since they tend to form around the eyelids and lips, they’re also known as facial warts.
While they’re not cancerous, filiform warts can cause discomfort and look unattractive. Filiform warts are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV)
If they are not treated and you have HPV you can spread these warts to other people via skin contact, especially if the skin is broken.
