This is a clinical setting, and all instruments are sterilized using a Class B autoclave.

This procedure uses a one-time only sterile probe on each patient.

 

​How does this procedure work?

​This procedure uses a very fine one-use sterile heated tiny probe to either cauterise or lift away the superficial skin lesion, depending on the type of skin lesion that is being treated.

This procedure has been generally described by patients as a warm stinging sensation which they find to be easily tolerable.

After treatment you may or may not experience reddening, swelling and a slight sensitivity for up to 48 hours.  A small scab will appear after a few days, and natural healing will take place. Your skin will start to heal over the next few weeks, and you may or may not feel itching around the area that has been treated.

After treatment you must not pick touch or scratch the treated area and keep it dry for 24 hours.

Skin Tag Removal from 1 to 10 small skin tags removed - £100  

They come in various sizes from small to large, hanging or flat base and can be found anywhere on the body.

 

Seborrhoeic Keratosis from 1 to 5 removed - £100

These are flat or raised skin growths with a scaly warty surface. They can develop as a single growth or clusters and can be found anywhere on the body.

 

Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (DPN) from 1 to 10 removed - £100

These can be flat to the skin or hang off the skin like a skin tag. Most commonly affecting people of African and Asian descent. These can be commonly found on the face and neck.

Raised Benign Mole Reduction & Raised lesions - £100 each

These are dehydrated and reduced in size in a single treatment. Very large, raised lesions may need a 2nd reduction which is payable after 6 weeks.

 

Common Wart - £100 per wart

These look like hard raised lumps with rough surfaces and commonly found on the hands and knees. These are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) which is contagious.   

 

Filiform/ Facial Warts from 1 to a small cluster removed - £100

Commonly found on the face and neck. These are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) which is contagious and can spread especially if the skin is broken. Sometimes these can be mistaken for skin tags.

 

Facial Thread Veins - £50 per area

These are broken veins and blood vessels which lie just under the surface of the skin. They appear as fine red lines or tiny spider veins.

  

Blood Spots/Cherry Angioma from 1 to 10 small spots removed - £100   

These skin growths are made up of blood vessels. They look like red spots, sometimes raised and can appear in various sizes.  

 

Milia from 1 to 10 removed - £100   

These are small white or yellowish raised cysts, bumps or spots on the skin. It can feel like a small hard grit under the skin. Usually found around the eyes, cheeks and forehead.

Age Spots/ Sunspots (Solar Lentigines) from 1 to 4 removed - £100

These are small flat dark patches on the skin.

Often found in areas that have been exposed to the sun.

 

Sebaceous Hyperplasia from 1 to 5 removed - £100

Often appear as multiple small bumps with a dent in the centre, commonly found on the forehead, cheeks and chin. Can be caused by hormone changes.

 

Electrolysis Hair Removal from 15 to 30 min - £50

Can permanently remove individual hairs from the body, common areas are the face and neck.
